Custom Plastics manufactures fire-rated panels using Formica laminates for
commercial construction and marine applications. The wide range of laminate
options from Formica make these panels an attractive “drywall alternative”
in any areas where fire protection is critical. Custom Plastics works closely
with Formica to insure that panels achieve the highest levels of certification,
including: Underwriter's Laboratory (UL), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and Marine
Equipment Directive (MED), in accordance with the new International Marine Organization
(IMO) regulations. Profiles, moldings, and a full line of installation components
are available for all panel systems.
The Marine Panel System provides Formica clad, lightweight,
fire resistant material for walls/bulkheads, ceilings/overheads,
interior accommodations, and furniture in all types of sea-going
vessels and offshore platforms.

The Flame Safe Panel System starts with attractive Formica coverings. These panels
are highly durable, low maintenance interior wall coverings that provide strength,
flexibility and beauty. Each panel is U.L. certified to A.S.T.M. standards for
specific fire-rated classifications. The depth of the Formica product line lets Flame
Safe panels work in virtually any type of building.

Custom Plastics Prelaminated Panels are clad in Formica product, precut, and used as a component
in the manufacture of a wide range of commercial products, including cabinets, and other assemblies
which need an attractive Formica laminate finish. Formica High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is applied
to a variety of cores, including particle board, MDF, plywood, honeycomb, foam, plastic, acrylic,
metal, or FRP.
