Flame Safe Panel System Products
- CP-3 Divider System
A progressive wall panel system that features a hidden divider molding that minimizes
molding appearance.
- CP-4 Divider System
A non-progressive system that features a two-piece divider molding for ease of panel
replacement.
- CP-6 Divider System
A progressive system utilizing the same base molding as the CP-3, but has an attractive
protrusion that goes between panels.
- CP-7 Divider System
A non-progressive panel system, that features a one piece hat-shaped divider molding
that allows for ease of panel installation or replacement.

Flame Safe Panel Components
- Panel Core
The “core” of particle board, plywood, or medium density fiberboard (MDF), depending
on the level of fire protection needed.
- Panel Covering
The covering is permanently attached to the core using Custom Plastics proprietary
glues and press technologies. Flame safe panels are clad with high-pressure
decorative laminate (HPL), Deco-Metals, pre-finished real wood veneers, i.e. Formica
Ligna or unfinished real wood veneers.
- Moldings and Installation Components
Custom Plastics provides a turn-key panel installation system, complete with moldings
and brackets for every application.

Core Choices
The choice of core material is driven by the strength, weight, and level of fire
protection required.

Panel Covering Options

Moldings
The Flame Safe Panel System is a turn-key solution for installing wall systems.
There are four divider system options for installation of the panels.
- Divider Molding
- Trim Molding
- Outside Corners
- Cap Moldings
- Two-piece cap moldings for doors, windows or top trim
Corner moldings are also available wrapped with matching high-pressure decorative
laminate for patterns or solid colors. Powder coating is also available to match
solid colors or generic patterns with a minimum order of 20 pieces.

Fire Protection
Custom Plastics understands fire-rated classifications, and can configure a product
to meet your needs. The Flame Safe Panel System is classified by Underwriters Laboratories
(U.L.) and has approved classifications utilizing particle board, plywood, and MDF
for Class 1 or A, Class II or B, and Class III or C.
Custom Plastics Flame Safe Panel Systems have been tested in accordance with ASTM-E-84,
and UL-723. There are a variety of fire-rated classifications available for Class
I or A, Class II or B, or Class III or C utilizing fire-rated particleboard for
Class I and non fire-rated particle board for Class II and Class III. There also
is a variety of fire-rated classifications available utilizing veneer core plywood,
medium density fiberboard (MDF), and Honeycomb. These various classifications are
available utilizing high-pressure decorative laminate (HPL), metals, and real wood
veneers.
